If you can, try to book your move 4-8 weeks in advance and between October and May for better prices and to ensure that you can reserve your preferred move day. Also, keep in mind that leases typically start and end at the beginning or end of the month, so these are usually the busier times to move in any month of the year.
A moving broker does not work for a specific moving company. Instead, they will select and hire the moving company for you.

The best way to save money on the move is to pack yourself. Also, you should do a cost-benefit analysis by considering the cost to move any large piece of furniture or item that does not fit in a box.
